Chicago Cubs John Muller talks baseball at EXTRA INNINGS Saratoga!

John Muller, who’s family now lives in the Clifton Park area is working out in the off season at Extra Innings. Here he meets a couple of ballplayers, Brit Douglas and Michael Fairley. Brit and Michael had just finished their weekly fielding practice and had a chance to talk baseball with John after his workout.

After a stellar mini camp in Arizona with the Chicago Cubs Organization John Muller will report to Boise Idaho, the Cubs short A team in the Northwest League. Muller signed with the Cubs on May 16th, two days after his last game at St. Thomas Aquinas College.

During his 4-year career with the Spartans Muller had over 100 RBIs, 50 doubles, 50 stolen bases, hit over .350, and collected a record high 224 hits. The 6'2 Mahopac, NY native also made several appearances out of the bullpen for STAC. The Cubs signed Muller as a pitcher after seeing a 90 mph fastball and a well-developed slider.
