BASEBALL – Pitching Development

Designed for players 10-12 years of age who have already learned and can demonstrate the fundamental mechanics of the pitching motion.  Players will now enter the next stage of pitching development and learn how to change speeds, fooling the opposing team with effective change ups.  This 4-week program dives deeper into pitching strategy and situational pitching to begin to prepare you for your 2009 season.  Our professional instructors will also help you plan your off-season strength and conditioning workouts specific to the pitching position.  Enjoy small class sizes and personalized attention.

“Drop-n-Shop” HOLIDAY Mini-Camp

These sessions will fill up fast!  Parents can drop off their player at our mini-camp and enjoy some time to prepare for the holidays.  Choose from either half-day (3-hour), or full-day (6-hour) programs for ages 7-12.  Our staff will provide games, contests, and practice in all aspects of softball & baseball.  Full day participation will include an Extra Innings provided lunch.  This program is held the weekends of December 6 & 7; and December 13 & 14.

BASEBALL Winter Weekend Hitting Clinic - NEW SESSION ANNOUNCED

Extra Innings Winter Hitting Camp is for players 7-12 years of age.  This 4-session clinic focuses on the mechanics of hitting and bunting.  Our instructors will conduct a detailed point-by-point inspection of the stance, grip and swing and will correct any flaws or problems.  The turf tunnels, batting cages and circuit training areas will be used.  A great way to start an off-season training program!  Space is limited.

SOFTBALL 10-WEEK Winter Workouts

Truly bring your game to the next level working with our professional coaching staff in this 10-week winter workout program.  Get the instruction you need in all aspects of the game.  We will work with the players on hitting with power, bunting, slapping, pitching, position play, game strategy, base-running, infield and outfield play, footwork, sliding, and so much more.    In addition to your weekly instruction, two bonus sessions will showcase your progress. Currently not an option for Player Pack free-clinic.

BASEBALL Pitching & Catching Winter Clinics

For Pitchers and Catchers, now is the time to develop arm strength and the mechanics necessary for a successful 2009 season.  These sessions are designed to teach pitchers to use their whole body in the pitching motion.  Increase your velocity and work to stay healthy through the season.  Players will be broken up into beginning, intermediate, and advanced skill levels.  Come get a great workout while learning the fundamentals to develop your game.

This is a 6-week instructional coach-pitch program for 7U and 8U baseball players.  No previous baseball experience required.  Learn the game while playing the game in our 8,000 sq ft turf field.  Our coach will oversee a game each Saturday morning with plenty of player and position instruction to help beginners and experienced players.
